How do you replace a watch strap yourself?
A leather watch strap wears down the more you wear it, so it needs to be replaced from time to time. The same applies to sports watch straps, for example when a small tear appears in the strap. - Place the watch upside down on a soft surface.
- Gently push the strap slightly to the side with your fingers.
- Use a thin object or our springbar removal tool and press the pin slightly inwards, so it comes loose from the case.
- Remove the strap.
- Place the watch upside down on a soft surface.
- Let part of the pin stick out of the strap and place it in the hole in the watch case.
- Place the strap at the back of the watch to prevent visible damage.
- Take the springbar removal tool, press the pin inwards and place the pin in the hole.
